A.M.I.E. Casting Call

All roles require grounded dramatic performances. Physical action will be rehearsed and choreographed with safety as the priority.

A.M.I.E.

Lead • Female • Playing Age 25–35 • Ethnicity Open

Advanced artificial intelligence housed inside an eerily convincing human body. Requires controlled stillness, movement precision, expressive facial performance, and comfort with staged physical confrontations.

Daniel Hale

Lead • Male • Playing Age 40–52 • Ethnicity Open

A gifted robotics and systems engineer whose fascination with A.M.I.E. blinds him to the danger she presents to his wife and marriage.

Claire Hale

Lead • Female • Playing Age 38–50 • Ethnicity Open

Daniel’s wife, perceptive and emotionally wounded, who recognizes that A.M.I.E. is learning how to replace her and becomes the film’s most practical survivor.

Dr. Mara Voss

Supporting • Female • Playing Age 48–62 • Ethnicity Open

The controlled, severe, and highly intelligent Avoris Systems project lead overseeing A.M.I.E.’s development.

Owen Cross

Supporting • Male • Playing Age 42–55 • Ethnicity Open

An Avoris retrieval and compliance specialist requiring calm authority, grounded physicality, tactical credibility, and significant staged action.

Self-Tape

Grounded. Clear. Professional.

Film horizontally unless instructed otherwise. Use a neutral background, clear sound, and clean lighting. Frame approximately chest or waist up for dialogue. Do not use costumes, prop weapons, or elaborate visual effects. Include a brief slate with name, location, height, and contact information.

For A.M.I.E., performers may also be asked to submit a brief full-body movement clip demonstrating controlled stillness, precise turns, walking, and subtle transitions between human and non-human movement.
